What is collected
If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you type are sent to Karla by email. Nothing is stored in a database on this website. If you do not use the form, this site collects no personal data about you at all.
Why, and on what basis
The information is used only to read and reply to your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent in sending the message, and Karla’s legitimate interest in answering it (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR, and the corresponding provisions of the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection).
How long it is kept
Your message stays in Karla’s mailbox for as long as it is useful for your enquiry and any ongoing work together. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
Cookies
This website sets no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. Nothing is placed on your device that requires your consent, which is why you are not being shown a cookie banner. WordPress sets a session cookie only for people who log in to administer the site.
Third parties
Fonts are served from this website’s own server, not from an external font service, so no request for them is sent to any third party.
Two service providers necessarily handle data in the course of running the site:
- Web hosting. The site is hosted by Web Hosting Buzz. Server logs may briefly record IP addresses for security and diagnostics. [TO CONFIRM: server location. If the server is in the United States this is a transfer outside Switzerland and the EEA and should be stated plainly.]
- Email delivery. Messages from the contact form are delivered through Brevo, whose servers are in the European Union.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its use, or withdraw consent. Write to k.beesemyer@bluewin.ch and Karla will respond. You also have the right to complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or to the supervisory authority in your own country.

If this website changes in a way that affects your data, this page is updated first.
